The volume includes chapters on collecting and cleaning shells, archival methods, digital and film imaging, dredging, and cladistics and molecular techniques. There are chapters covering all 7 extant classes of mollusks (yes even the Aplacophora and Monoplacophora) as well as fossil mollusks. These are only a few of the 31 chapters.
