Current Issue, Mar 2011: Volume 29 Issue 1-2: http://www.bioone.org/toc/malb/current Dear Readers, I am happy to announce that beginning in Summer 2009, the American Malacological Bulletin will be available on BioOne (www.bioone.org), an essential electronic aggregation of over 140 cutting-edge bioscience research journals. Volumes 22-25, as well as current issues published in 2009 and onwards, will be available in both PDF and XML formats. The Bulletin will be available to all institutional subscribers of the BioOne.2 collection. Libraries wishing to subscribe or those with any questions should contact BioOne directly. We are also working on developing a link through our web page to allow subscribers to download pdfs of papers. Our hope is that this increased electronic visibility of our journal will add to its stature and allow us to recruit cutting edge papers on malacology. Kenneth M. Brown ScopeThe American Malacological Bulletin serves as an outlet for reporting notable contributions in malacological research. Manuscripts concerning any aspect of original, unpublished research,important short reports, and detailed reviews dealing with molluscs will be considered for publication. Recent issues have included AMS symposia, independent papers, research notes,and book reviews. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous reviewing by independent expertreferees. AMS symposium papers have undergone peer review by symposium organizer, symposium participants, and independent referees. Editorial Board
