Call for Proposals
PROPOSAL DEADLINE Friday June 3, 2005

For Funding FY06

(Start date of each contract will be individually determined)

The Conservation Services Division of New Mexico Department of Game and Fish will soon issue a RFP (Request for Proposal) for projects to address conservation needs in New Mexico. Funds awarded under this RFP will be available for project work during the fiscal year 2006 (July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2006). 

PURPOSE.  The Share with Wildlife (SwW) Mission Statement defines four areas of need that SwW seeks to supplement with funding:

(1)   Biological investigations (primarily for nongame species).

(2)   Wildlife rehabilitation of both game and nongame species.

(3)   Habitat conservation and restoration

(4)   Conservation education

The Share with Wildlife funding application has recently been incorporated into the State of New Mexico ‘Request for Proposals’(RFP) process with State Purchasing.

RFP will be available the first week in May.  At that time, a hardcopy application packet can be mailed to you 

or go to   or to download application packet.  The title of the RFP will be MULTIPLE SHARE WITH WILDLIFE PROJECTS TO FILL UNMET NEEDS OF THE CONSERVATION SERVICES DIVISION NEW MEXICO DEPARTMENT OF GAME AND FISH or something very similar to this.
